    Berlin 2010

    Dear Wiki User,

We have posted this notice onto your site to inform you of important news regarding this Wiki platform.

    What is happening?

The server that hosts this Wiki platform is being decommissioned and taken out of use from March 22nd 2012.

    Why are you doing this?

The server has come to the end of its useful life. Increasingly, it is becoming very unreliable and difficult to maintain an acceptable level of service.

What will happen to my site?

From 22nd March we will start to decommission the server and you will no longer be able to access your Wiki site. We will archive all the content on your site and retain a copy of it for 12 months; none of it will be deleted or lost during this period.

If you are still using your Wiki site then the University offers several alternative tools and technologies. These technologies are fully supported by the elearning team in CLTAD who can help you migrate your content and provide you with the necessary support and training for a seamless transition.

What do I need to do?

If you are still using your site, or want to retrieve the content before the service is decommissioned, then please contact the elearning support team at elearning-support@arts.ac.uk and we will arrange a time to discuss the options with you.

If you no longer use your site and do not need the content then there is no need to do anything. We will simply archive the site and its content.
